Location: Sofia

Major responsibilities:

Experienced Application support engineer able to perform production support tasks like:
o Installation and deployment of software (Releases; patches)
o Contribute to rapid restore of the service in case of incidents; search for workarounds
o Contribute to Performance tuning of the system
o Set up application monitoring and operational controls
o Contribute to delivery of Writing Standard Operating procedures and Operating Handbooks
o Committed to step into an OnCall service in the future when requested

Requirements:

• Strong experience as Application Management on Open system based application
• Strong Linux knowledge
• Very good knowledge of Oracle DB technology
• Scripting and Bash scripting tools
• Very good overall knowledge of large sized IT infrastructure environments
• Fluent English
• Strong affinity with large sized production systems
• Very good problem solving skills
• Very customer and quality oriented
• Capability to work in an international team, but also able to work fully autonomously when required
• Strong sense to work in a cost effective and project oriented way

Considered as valuable assets:
• Knowledge of Digital Payment Industry (on Cards)
• Knowledge of Zabbix
• Knowledge of other European languages like Dutch; Italian; French or German
